Review on ๐Ÿšฒ FIFTY-FIFTY Double Lock-On Mountain Bike Grips: Superior Locking & Non-Slip Handlebar Grips for MTB by Steve Modesto

Not worth the money.

I bought these because they had good reviews and the color matched my bike. I regret buying them. The Alan screw heads are easy to remove, so be careful when installing. After I tightened the bolt closest to the shifter, it still held the crank very securely. I tightened the other end, and then it got a little better. I can still turn the knobs a little. They certainly have a traction feel that is good for trail riding/jumping. In terms of comfort, they are terrible. I've ridden them twice, riding with and without gloves. My thumbs go numb after just a few minutes of riding and I have to put my thumbs on the grips to relieve the pressure. This makes driving less safe when it comes to control. I take them off and put on other pens. I absolutely cannot recommend these pens.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
