I can navigate perfectly at night without being blinded *Update

I got it a few days ago and I'm still very excited. I mainly use it for reading in bed. The luminous flux at maximum is sufficient to illuminate my entire small bedroom, at minimum (sleep mode) I can navigate safely at night without being dazzled. I really like the adjustable light temperature - warm for reading before bed, cool for waking up in the morning. The light panel folds down easily to get good lighting. Update time: I bought this almost five years ago and have been using it consistently ever since. Red standby indicator feedback and brightness. The lamp sits on a side table at the head of my bed where I use it as a reading lamp and I don't want to sit and watch me use the controls. The standby light is distractingly bright when I'm sleeping with it about a foot from my head. So I solved these problems. A trip to the hardware store brought me a few small parts and a tube of superglue. I glued pieces of different sizes and shapes to each control and now I can find them by touch. A small screw and BB I taped to the standby lamp light covers most of the light but I can still find it easily in the dark. Much better now. Light for macro photography. Some things could of course be improved. Tactile switches - even small bumps so I can toggle on/off/adjust without looking. sleep timer. a slightly better CRI than 81 would be good for photography. and making it programmable would be great. I wonder how hard it will be to hack? Maybe I'll just have to open it up and see. A USB charger is good, but 1 amp is not enough to charge the tablet while it is in use. 2 amps would be nice. Update: I've added some small parts that might get on the touch switches. Much better - no more fumbling around by the bed to turn the lights on or off! Because the switches are capacitive, it's easy to add something metallic you can feel. For the switch I used a small stainless steel nut with a small ball bearing in the middle. A drop of super glue did the trick. This not only makes it easier to find without looking, but also makes the button significantly larger - and takes away the red LED backlight, which bothered me - I like it dark when I'm sleeping. If I get inspired I'll add some cool stuff for the other buttons.
