I would say the 76 is very easy to install. Based on the nearby hygrometer, this appears to be accurate. if nothing works. When a dehumidifier (Aprileaire 1830) or an air conditioner is running, the humidity drops sharply. When they stop working, the number returns to the threshold. This causes the dehumidifier to work quite frequently. In comparison, the humidity percentage on my hygrometer shows a constant decrease and increase. If nothing is running, the numbers on the two devices are the same. When both systems are running, the difference between the readings of the hygrometer and the hygrostat is 4-5% (below). I know I can set an offset for this thing, but I have a feeling it would just shift the top of the curve. Curious to hear thoughts.
