When a dehumidifier (Aprileaire 1830) or an air conditioner is running, the humidity drops sharply. When they stop working, the number returns to the threshold. Installed and connected to an Aprilaire 1820 dehumidifier located in a pressurized bypass room. A handy little device that allows us to monitor the condition of the dehumidifier and the humidity level. I installed an Aprilaire unit in my crawl space and all I was looking for was a way to control and operate the unit without going down the stairs to have to. I can set the humidity level I want right on the unit and it always keeps the air at that percentage, but for some reason you only have 6 levels of options on the controller.
