I installed an Aprilaire unit in my crawl space and all I was looking for was a way to control and operate the unit without going down the stairs to have to. I can set the humidity level I want right on the unit and it always keeps the air at that percentage, but for some reason you only have 6 levels of options on the controller. YOU CANNOT DETERMINE A DIRECT INTEREST. I can't set the desired humidity with the controller, say 50%. It's just stupid. I don't care what the engineers say. I want to set the humidity to what the heck I want and let the device set that room. Setting the knob to "5" allows room for bypass between 47 and 59% RH. Hm. I think this cheap controller should be included with every purchase, I have already paid 1200€ for the dehumidifier.
