If the temperature is too high or low, you can hurt yourself badly, and the rubber is too thick to be able to gauge temperature while it is full. So, it is important, for safety to really know what you are din when you try to do this at home, and not to go overboard - because you can make yourself sick, and hurt yourself badly.
