Beautiful, soft and beautiful color. As long as it holds up well.

As I am building a bathroom in a new location I bought a set of these towels. After using them for a couple of weeks I came back and bought another set. Let's start with a beautiful turquoise color. (I never thought I'd say that about towels, so it shows how much I thought I liked them.) They're soft and a nice medium weight. They are not so thin that you feel like you are wiping with paper and not so thick and heavy that you feel like you are using a Persian rug. (I bought separately a set of expensive Superior brand towels in almost the same shade to keep/display for guests, they are so heavy and thick that I could hardly fold them. I think it would be difficult for me to hold onto one if I tried to use it to dry off.) Let's face it, these aren't very trendy "hotel quality" towels, but they're a decent price per set, and barring the brim, they're 100% cotton. (Microfiber or polyester blend towels just give me goosebumps. Individual cotton fibers can absorb water in addition to the thread gap, while polyester fiber fabrics can only absorb water into the thread gap.) I washed them immediately. (Cold, just a few drops of detergent and a soak setting.) As with all new towels, there was an incredible amount of lint in the dryer after the first wash (and a few lint stains here and there). when used for drying) but after that they didn't lose more than I expected. Newer washing machines actually do cold washes, so I think the color and material of these towels will last a decent amount of time. I also bought a matching set of bath mats from the same brand which I am very happy with.
