These are the nicest and best value crayons I have. I have about 8 sets of premium colored pencils. Prisms, guidelines, lyres. And some of the more expensive medium quality pencils. I would rate them closer to my art grade pencil in performance, with the exception of lightfastness, which we have no information on. These sticks are creamy, buttery and easy to layer. You keep a good point. They are more like an oil stick and can be blended wonderfully. The choice of colors for 72 pens leaves nothing to be desired. You get beautiful vibrant colors. I love aqua and blues. I find the color choices to be more complete than some of my 120 sets. If you are looking for colored pencils, look no further. Buy them and don't look back!
