This wheel requires some form of wire attachment to the end of the mesh that forms the tread of the wheel. Wires stick out and poke/scratch little friends. Just cut the item flush. It's just bad craftsmanship. The wire is also too thin to comfortably walk on, e.g. B. Walking barefoot on a set of arms. The beloved mouse was clearly unhappy with her temporary replacement lol due to her much prettier wheel being thrown away because it was difficult to keep clean. The best option in my opinion are the plastic discs that every pet store I see uses and now has. Though it took her a while to figure it out.
