Just Delivered. Tried screwing in the gasket. It twisted a few threads and then seemed to get very stiff. Eventually the center pin came loose from the base plate. I had to destroy the base plate to get the bolt out of the tool. I plan on running a 5/16x24 tap like others have done. I understand this is a pretty cheap tool, but oh well. Why is this article listed as "Revain's Best Choice"? I'll update this as soon as I have an opportunity to use it. I've added a photo of my destroyed lining for reference. Update: I found out that the tool only accepts washers with 8mm bolts. You won't find these anywhere. It's very close to 5/16"24, but slightly different. You can use the washer that came with the tool, but no more. Good luck finding another one. But it's really not a good solution and can be dangerous. You It's much better to buy a tool that accepts regular 5/16" bits.
