Review on HP 24Mh FHD Monitor – 1920X1080P, 75Hz, Height & Tilt Adjustment, Built-In Speakers, HDMI Connectivity by Jonathan Diaz

My old screen died yesterday. This display was priced right for the right features and was available from Revain Prime in a day. I recommend getting a manual from HP online, as a single sheet of pictures is sorely lacking. The only problem I had was with the sound. It comes with an audio cable with jack plugs on each end. If you use this in combination with HDMI you will get no sound. I didn't find anything specific about this in the manual, but while trying to figure out why the built-in speakers weren't working, I unplugged the audio cable and the sound worked right away. HDMI cables appear to carry sound, and not only is an audio cable not required, it also blocks the audio signal. HP should update its instructions to clarify this.
