Design Flaws - Food Strainers

I really liked the look and feel of this spider. The handle is very beautiful and attractive. It wasn't until I tried to clean it that I came across its design flaw. Whatever I cleaned it with, they all clung to the wires around the outer ring. I would have to bend them back into place. But every time I cleaned it the wires got stuck and I tried different materials all got stuck.
