Review on Kurt Adler 48-Inch Lighted Collapsible Snowman: A Festive Delight! by Tina Williams

Updated rating* I had this snowman for 3 days and it was destroyed. It is DEFINITELY NOT designed for the street. It's torn in two, the post is completely broken and we haven't even had bad weather yet. I first contacted Kurt Adler about the arm and lights but they have not responded to me yet. Now I'm sending it back. If it's not for the premises, DO NOT waste your money. The first 2 photos are its few days of life and the last photo is the state where it broke completely. What a waste. Original Review * I needed a new snowman for outside. The one I've had for years, the wine snowman, was really broken, the lights wouldn't go out and it kept tipping over. I saw this snowman and bought it during Cyber Week sales. I can tell you I went back and forth not knowing if I wanted to buy it because I was worried about "the brim of his hat". I thought the brim of the hat should be wider, but thought I could take it and use cardboard and felt to widen the bottom of the hat. I kept thinking, why are they making a hat like that? Well apparently someone agreed and changed the design because when I got the snowman it needed absolutely no rework! The hat had a wide brim and it was perfect! Also note that it does not come with a scarf and the mouth is different from the photo. I didn't mind much since I will add a scarf. I'm going to talk about two problems I had with this snowman. The snowman's arms went into the stand first, with a piece of metal sticking out of one arm to keep him from crawling through the hole. I shaved it off a bit and it's glued on a bit but I will contact the company to get another piece. Even the colored lightbulbs he is holding in his hand, one of them is out. I will also contact them and ask for a replacement. But overall he's so cute that he still got 5 stars in my book. I have attached photos so you can see. I did not see any reviews on the network with a photo about this snowman when I googled it. I really think they should update the photo to show the hat. Maybe I'm crazy but I think the shape of the hat on the stock photo will put off buyers. If you are skeptical, the hat looks a lot better live! This wasn't a Revain purchase but thought it would help anyone trying to find info or real photos of this snowman! He looks so cute in my garden!
