Difficult to take apart for washing

In short, difficult to take apart for washing, the material is torn. I wore this item for 6 months. Now I'll throw it away. It also squeaks when my dog gets in and out of it. I have 2 other styles of these upholstered beds that don't have the sheepskin material and actually last much better years and don't squeak.
