I bought two of these to put in my garden in addition to the outside wall speakers I have on my patio. Once you've done your research, you'll find that these are by far the cheapest and can't be beat for quality either. Other options are too expensive compared to these. At first I just put them on a concrete square but then I bought a flower box to put them on top of which I think helps improve the sound which is excellent by the way. I've uploaded a few photos to give you a better idea of how I set them up in the first place and how they are set up now. Please note that I had a passive version of this type of speaker for about five years. Years old, and it's still tough after enduring the sun, wind, and rain of South Florida, so I'm sure they'll last just as long, if not longer. Very happy with them. As far as I know, they're the only game in town for outdoor floor or floor speakers. reasonable price with great sound. What else would you like to ask?
