I usually wear size 30, regular or tall pants. Since these have the extra lining, I assumed they'd be tight so I bought a size 32. SO tight in the thigh area - I couldn't bend my knees/sit down. The waist was loose, and they come with a pretty nice belt that I would consider buying separately, but I can't wear these tight pants. Plus, the inner lining is really weird. It's not like any 'fleece' that I've ever seen. I can't get a photo that really shows it, but it looks more like velvet or faux-suede or something - it has long fibers, rather than looking like fuzzy fleece. The main problem is that it feels really weird - it sticks to your skin. I'm wondering if the pants would feel less tight if the lining wasn't so sticky - it doesn't move as you try to bend your leg, so the pants just feel stiff and tight. I would say you should buy at least 1 size larger, maybe 2, than you normally wear, especially if you have larger thighs/ booty area. But, with the weird uncomfortable lining, I don't know if it's even worth it.
