I just bought this to replace a Choetech mount that appears to be discontinued. Choetech worked well, but when I upgraded my phone to the Galaxy S20, it didn't charge fast. I also have this ZeeHoo device in my Jeep https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MX1YXNS and it charges my S20 quickly, but I don't like the powered latch/unclench feature for two reasons. 1) I keep forgetting to take my phone out of the holder, even after a year of use, and 2) when I report dangers to Waze, it's too easy to press the unlock buttons while trying to steady my hand, to find "Auto stopped". or whatever is on the screen. This holder solves both the problem of fast charging the S20 and the problem of forgetting to release the phone; There seems to be a capacitor in the mount that allows the phone to unlock even after a power outage (my car doesn't have an unplugged cigarette lighter socket. My Jeep has a ZeeHoo that works, but it stopped working and I was too lazy to fix the problem.) This is great, I really like this feature. Only time will tell if I will have a problem 2) with this holder but it has good reviews so I will give it a try. I assume this works fine. I'll let you know if I have any problems with it. Update 08/24/21: The suction cup on the old ZeeHoo mount in my Jeep has failed (in particular sticky slime has come loose from it and won't work without it). ) and I bought another one to replace it so I have this mount in both my cars now. My only complaint is that I was expecting; If you try to use Waze to report dangers while driving, avoid pressing the button to unlock the phone. Otherwise no problems at all. I find that adding a supposed capacitor to the mount so it can decompress when the key is off is a great feature which is why I just bought another unit rather than trying to fix my old one.
