I was initially please with this product. I was using it as a cockpit tarp on my sailboat on the Gulf Coast of Florida. It is NOT resistant to the sun’s UV rays and became brittle after 3 months. Numerous rips in the fabric. The last time I took it down my fingers went right through it and it ripped the entire length of the tarp. I suppose it might be fine for occasional use in a shaded forest but it’s NOT made for endurance.
