I accidentally sent these bulbs back. Yes, they didn't work properly, and yes, this and all providers could explain better what information is required. 50 light bulb strings come in two main "flavors" or wattages. They don't mix very well. Dirt bulbs are 2.5V, 0.42W, 0.170A (170mA) and they don't say it's 14 ohms when they're on. The other type is 2.5V, 0.25W, 0.100A (100mA), 25ohm when lit. For those with little knowledge, be dangerous; Plugging a 0.42w bulb into a 0.25w festoon will NOT produce a super bright light. This lamp only sees about 0.100 amps, so it only gets half the power it needs. I don't think it has the same wattage as a 0.25w incandescent bulb. True, but the reduced current does not light up at the same rate and is very weak. You MUST adjust the POWER as well as the tension on the 50 lamp strings.
