1 month update: Just found out this system doesn't work with fridge ice maker. Since our fridge ice maker requires water pressure to operate, the reverse osmosis system will not work / will not turn on. It sucks. No, I don't have to re-plumb and reconnect the fridge to the plumbing and also buy a new water filter for the fridge. I wish it had been mentioned in the product details that this reverse osmosis system most likely will not work with a refrigerator. I have to deduct a star for that. Pretty easy to install. It took me longer than I expected to uninstall the old system as it was old and those who ever installed it before did a very poor job. But after the old reverse osmosis system was removed the new unit went in very easily, I left the lines a bit long so I could turn off the machine if needed and still have access to the hoses. Pros: 1. Doesn't lose water pressure. Permanent water when I need it. My wife likes to make soup and it is good that this system has a water problem like some other reverse osmosis systems where the water comes out slower. The taste of the water is excellent. I don't know how clean it is compared to my old system but I started drinking more water so that's good.3. Only 3 filters need to be replaced at the right time, and the replacement cost is affordable and very easy to replace.4. Anyone can install this if you have the right tools. The TDS counter is accurate. I get about 11 on the LCD screen. Sometimes 8 if I drink a lot of drinking water.6. It is best to keep in mind that this system takes up very little space under the sink. My old reverse osmosis system had a lot of filters and the tank took up most of the space under my old sink. My wife now loves the extra space! 7. Nothing was missing in the kit. Everything arrived professionally wrapped and boxed. I didn't expect that :) There were enough hoses, enough for those who want to put the machine away. Cons: 1. The machine needs to be plugged into an outlet. Luckily my garbage chute wasn't working so the car took its place.2. Has a slight buzz when receiving water.3. Drinking water must be used as fully open water. It is not possible to turn the lever slightly to reduce the water pressure. Even when water is accepted, the pump switches on with a delay and pumps water.4. Expensive compared to other systems but hopefully will hold out in 1 year and fail.5. The supplied T-valve was leaking from the start. I made sure I used claw tape and tightened the nut properly. Still in flow. At first I thought the water was coming from my sink, but it's actually coming from the tee that comes with the kit. I haven't contacted Frizzlife yet, but I'll just go to Homedepot and buy a better one. They are cheap anyway.6. The instructions weren't too clear for first use or how and when to flush the car. It would be nice to read and write a TDS value for water.8. Need electricity to work. If you don't have electricity during a storm, you'll have no luck trying to get clean drinking water. It would be better than the traditional reverse osmosis system. Had to rate it 4 stars because of the leaky T-value that came with the kit.
