I was happy with this charger until this morning, both USB and wireless connections. I had my phone plugged in and when I touched the dock that the cable was plugged into (high speed connector) it felt so hot that I couldn't pull it out easily. I unplugged my device, but after it cooled down, I still couldn't unplug the USB. After a lot of effort pulling it out I was finally able to pull out the phone cord and saw that part of the connector had clearly melted. That port (the high-speed port) no longer works, and the cable (which has always been connected to the dock since purchase and hasn't had a problem until now) no longer works either. If plugged into another working port, the cable will immediately begin to heat up to dangerous and potentially dangerous or unsafe levels (although it still won't work), and heat damage is evident on the USB connector. Other ports still work fine, as do wireless and other identical cables plugged into other ports. This was COMFORTABLE just a few weeks past the return deadline. If you need it for frequent charging or many devices, I don't recommend it based on my experience; I'm not even sure if it's a safe item to have in the home.
