Bought two for a wedding. One was a warehouse clearance in "like new” unblemished conditions, the other new. These are fairly expensive pieces of decoration, you would expect quality, which you won’t find. As other reviewers mentioned, new one was scratched and one pole dented. "Like new” one was in the EXACT SAME CONDITIONS. Boxed or second hand, these centerpieces will never look polished and elegant as their price suggest: they do not stand straight, the weight of either battery or flame votives will incline the small bases making it look crooked at best, a dangerous fire hazard at worse. The paint is chipped and scratches easily. Worst thing is customer service. My return window had expired as I bought these with anticipation to the wedding, so once I opened I was not able to return them due to Walmart’s policies. Tried to work it out with the seller, whom only questioned me, questioned why I didn’t open the packages sooner, and at the very end made the sarcastic comment of why should I expect same quality for a second-hand item, ironically forgetting that I had bought both: new and open-box and shamefully, both had the exact same flaws. Seller just offered me $20, even though I spent almost $200 for these pieces of cheap metal (or aluminum?) I would suggest you choose a different product and stay away from this seller: smtyle. Don’t waste your hard earned money and your event decor will appreciate it.
