Review on Hollis F 2 Techincal Diving Fins by Ikki Martini

Great fins for travel and tech

If you don't want to take your big and heavy fins (Scubapro Jets, Hollis F1) with you on vacation then these fins are perfect for you. After much research it turned out that these are the only fins on the market that are (a) small and light enough for travel but (b) fully submersible. These fins are slightly shorter and narrower than the Scubapro jet fins BUT that one or two inch difference makes a big difference in propulsion. I can actually pack these fins in my carry-on! (21x9x14 inches). They also weigh less than 4 pounds for a pair compared to nearly 8 pounds for my jets. I couldn't find a proper sizing chart anywhere, but regular size seems to fit males aged 7-7. Shoe size 10, women 9-12. The spring strap on these fins is adjustable with a screwdriver, which was very easy. There seems to be enough room in the leg shell for a pair of dry suits. Boots aren't a problem here. I love that they include spring straps in the base price.
