The 2 "pockets" on the vest are just loops in the reflective belts. You could hold a Tootsie roll or Slim Jim. A third zippered pocket holds your house or car key. The water bottle pockets fit well, but on an adult, the spout on each bottle sits just above each nipple, looking at least ridiculous if not downright obscene. The last pocket is on the back and is not accessible when worn. The vest straps can be stretched to fit an adult, but the vest is sized for a child. Finally, the vest is so small and lacks bottom elastic that it doesn't bounce well on an adult.
