Glued corners can be connected so easily! I had to learn how to use it before using it! I know this might not make sense, but I had to put in a little effort to get the clamp to work perfectly. Before adding glue to my 45* corners, I reassembled the frame the way I wanted it and then installed the glued corners where I wanted. I found that the outside corners needed to be raised about 0.5" to keep the clip corners from slipping off the wood as I tightened the strap. Once I figured out this little trick I was ready to use glue. Because the glue doesn't set right away, you have time to make sure all of the wood corners line up properly while you tighten the tape. It's easy to do. You'll soon know when to tighten it the way you need it. If I applied too much glue and it squeezed out on the plastic corner I had no problem as some others have said as I removed it once everything was dry/cured. Overall I would say my joints look professional!
