The pens are definitely interesting and unique. No doubt they are different from anything you can find at your local hardware store. In fact, I squealed with delight as I inserted them! They were a little tricky to install but nothing I couldn't manage. Handles add personality to my kitchen! The color of my kitchen is a boring brown and the knobs really added that flash of color and style that wasn't there before. My cabinets are regular, regular-thickness cabinets. They are definitely not custom made so I was disappointed that the screws are too long. I have to buy different screws of the right length so that nobody cuts themselves on the screws that go with one of the drawers. The fronts of the handles have a beautiful silver finish with pointed ends. Our clothes are constantly caught on sharp raw edges, and our clothes get torn or pinched when we accidentally lean against them. We all now had several items of clothing ruined. I have to warn people to be careful when leaning against my closets to avoid damaging their clothes. I am extremely disappointed. I love the look but I either have to spend more money to get the right size screws or return them because they ruin our clothes. Either way, it wasn't a good buy.
