So I got these shoes after returning the Nike Super Reps because they were way too narrow even in the men's size. I ordered these and after taking the correct shoe out of the box and putting it on my foot I was SO impressed with the quality and fit. It was wide enough for my foot, yet comfortable and snug fitting like a cycling shoe should be. Then I pulled out my left shoe and immediately noticed the clinking metal. This doesn't affect the fit of the shoe in any way, however any movement of the foot inside the shoe will cause a loud ringing sound which I think will be extremely loud and noticeable when I'm on the bike. I can't find anything on the net that could be the cause. I will revise my review if I find a solution as I really like the fit and comfort of the shoe. I'm just not sure I can get over sounding like one of Michael Flatley's backup dancers.
