I have a MacBook Pro 2018 and can use this mini displayport with it. This has made it much easier to create meeting presentations and project them onto a screen, rather than emailing files to everyone or printing them out before meetings. It saved me a lot of time and allowed me to be more professional, which is always welcome. It's not big and bulky and easily fits in the zip pocket of my laptop bag, well made and durable from what I've seen. I definitely recommend it as it works exactly as described.
