Review on 🔨 Fiskars IsoCore General Hammer 15.5 inch by Steven Saric

The ergonomics of this hammer are incredibly precise. The handle design is the best I've seen; The handle is extremely comfortable and easy to grip, with or without gloves, and I really like the double-convex shape. The concave center allows you to have a 100% natural grip choke, meaning you won't experience grip fatigue even when you're doing something that requires a shorter swing or more control. At the same time, the longer length gives you superior performance for something less precise like framing. Also the nail installer works like a dream. No slipping, magnet strength is perfect, 8p and 16p nails are almost always perfect for me. Great depth of penetration so you can hit hard on the second shot without fear and I was able to place them accurately within 1/8" of my target when roofing. Of course, you have to get used to it, but it's not difficult. Most nailers I've used are mediocre, I only use them for driving nails out of reach. But after the first few with Fiskars I started using fixative on each nail. Hard sections or OSB! The only thing I'd like to see is a lighter version of this hammer as I like the higher impact speeds because they tire you less. While this is a personal preference the higher speeds demand more precision from you. And I see how a light, well-balanced head has its issues, the strength requirements mean that steel with a head under 20 ounces becomes difficult to maintain perfect balance. Because of this, truly amazing hammers use titanium and are very expensive. and the sheer layer on the paint is a little faint. So far I haven't had a single scratch on the black one, but after a few days of roofing the clear one had major damage. But yeah, whatever the case, I buy my tools for their functionality. Although I have to say that the design of this hammer is particularly beautiful. I never thought I would find a hammer beautiful. Overall, the thing is absolutely great, better than any hammer I've seen in this price range.
