Make no mistake - hammers with claws

I am very impressed with this hammer. The grip is amazing. When hitting with a hammer, the impact force is very low. And I love the Fiskars guarantee

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Problems

Great gift - hammer

Bought for my father who works in construction, he uses it almost every day. It definitely feels like the punch puts less shock in your hand.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Misleading Photos - Hand Tools

All images except cover show a 16 oz hammer. Every frame comparison and size comparison is completely wrong. The tool has not been tested yet, not balanced the first time. But bad grades for the release aren't that great

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Available in White Only

WOW what a hammer! Big

Wow what a great hammer, once you pick it up it feels perfect! In my 30+ years in the trade I have had many hammers. But none of them felt as perfect as this hammer, and let me tell you, it will drive in 16 nails for a dime with ease: 1 to drive the nail in and 1 maybe 2 hits to drive better than my $250 Martinez and it was only $40.

Pros
  • Full life
Cons
  • High price

good banger the best claw hammer

As an old framer, I always used a wooden-handled (ash) hammer. Using anything else is just too painful after banging around with a 22oz milled face hammer all day. Apparently the wooden grip absorbs the impact of each punch instead of transferring it to the elbow. After I borrowed my old Forged Hart Hammer, it came back with a broken claw. In retirement, I didn't want to spend $145 on a hammer I would rarely use. After reading the reviews I bought a Fiskars hammer. I've had it for a while but…

Pros
  • soft grip fits your hand; The texturing has dimples for gripping and smaller dimples where the palm sits to avoid blisters
Cons
  • small items

Great hammer, albeit a bit heavy for me.

The ergonomics of this hammer are incredibly precise. The handle design is the best I've seen; The handle is extremely comfortable and easy to grip, with or without gloves, and I really like the double-convex shape. The concave center allows you to have a 100% natural grip choke, meaning you won't experience grip fatigue even when you're doing something that requires a shorter swing or more control. At the same time, the longer length gives you superior performance for something less precise…
