Review on ⚡️ Dimmable Line Voltage Professional Furniture by Brian Olson

I am a musician and need two LED washers for my home entertainment centre, repurposed as Display case for my collection of vintage snare drums (see attached photo, light in action). I bought this set of 3 Puck LED Lights instead of ALL the competitors for one reason: I needed to replace my obsolete Halogen Pucks and the diameter with the housing removed (for recessed applications) matches the pre-drilled holes perfectly. Other products I was looking for were too big. Please note I only needed two lamps and there were three in the kit but I ended up buying four as you will see below. In general I am satisfied with the purchase, but there are two problems. First of all, when the product is actually exposed in such an application by the manufacturer, the instructions state that the product is "not intended to be recessed into ceilings or ceilings”, and this is the most compelling reason to buy such fixtures. ! This application is shown in the photos on the Revain product page as well as in the user manual itself. The only explanation I can think of is that the manufacturer tries to limit liability in some way. In any case, I installed the system in a recessed room and it works great: doesn't overheat after several hours of use! Another issue is both the short I/O wiring configuration and the limitation of series connection of washers, such as the factory specification. The set of three washers includes a pair of short extension cords that are only useful if you intend to space lights about a foot apart, whether recessed or surface mounted; and must be connected in series with these extension cords without modification. In my application, the best way to connect the product was in parallel. So I had to make good use of my wire cutters/wire strippers along with the soldering iron. I bought a ripcord of the same gauge and stocked up on soldering and heat shrink tubing so I could do the job of cutting, cutting and splicing wires like a pro. I cut off the output wires of the two washers as they are not needed for the parallel connection. (Note: I carefully sealed the ends with tape and shrink tubing to ensure there was no short circuit, now or ever.) I was looking for an idea for a third washer and found myself ordering a single fourth washer from Revain could. . I connected these two in series upstairs in my entertainment center to illuminate the ceiling at two points (see attached photo). In summary, these LED pucks appear to be a great product, but they may need to be modified for your application. .
