One side broke last season :( This season the other :(

Last year my G3 broke the side without the buckle to fix that side and then the side with the buckle into the drawer Broke the side with the buckle this season so swapped it out now.The original had a gray insert underneath, all black.Otherwise very similar to the OEM.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • old

Easy to change Fits clips, cuffs and bracelets

As previously mentioned, you will need to remove the small black coating from your old watch (after removing the strap) before you can wear it. It took a bit of fiddling to get the pin in, but it only took me 5 minutes to install the new bar. Fast delivery with Prime. Good price. I don't see the Forerunner 610 being made anymore so I'm happy to find a replacement strap as the watch is still working even 5 years after purchase.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Clueless

does its job, great product

Excellent product, a little "awkward" when assembling the clock - the alignment of the posts and sockets in the clock case is not perfect and requires multiple passes. lots of light, lots of patience, steady hands (think watchmaker) and needle nose pliers. Once assembled they work perfectly and the watch looks brand new (better than the tape solution I had for three years after the New York City Marathon).

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Excellent replacement

As I expected. It looks just like the original, not to say it's not the original, I just don't know for sure ;). It was very easy to install. I didn't have to use a removal tool, instead I used a pin which is a lot easier. Added some photos to show the packaging as it came, the two sides of the strap looking towards the side where the watch touches, the end of the strap installation and the comparison between new and old (new on guard) .

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Poor design, removal leaves a chunk on your watch.

Initially I thought the strap didn't fit and I spent a lot of time searching back and forth with Garmin support. Turns out there's only one watch strap, and this is the right one. The problem is that the strap has a plastic sleeve that tends to stay on the watch when you remove the strap. It looks like part of a watch (black with two protrusions on it) but it comes loose when you pry it off. Underneath is a smooth mount for your new strap.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • No performance

Didn't like the size, broke after 20 uses

I bought this to replace my padded strap when it broke. Everything was fine - I didn't really like the way he was sitting. It was quite bulky and inflexible, so it was either too tight and disrupted circulation, or too loose and didn't fit my wrist, causing chafing on long runs. The group was delivered to me on July 18th and collapsed after one run on September 3rd. The parts around the pin holes are broken so the pins no longer attach the band to the watch. Basically it worked for 20 starts.

Pros
  • Fits a lot of people
Cons
  • Too boring

Saved my Garmin watch from the trash

My Garmin watch strap broke at the start of the Fargo marathon. Garmin Direct doesn't make it easy to fix a strap, and another runner suggested ordering the part you need from Revain. So I did. Saved my previously purchased $400+ Garmin watch from going to waste because without a watch band, what do I do with my perfectly running Garmin through all my marathons? Have worn my Garmin on many marathons after the overhaul. I would not have known that this is not the original strap. Happy with theโ€ฆ

Easy Exchange - Garmin 610 Watch Band

Arrived in 3 days and paid $17. There were other cheaper brands out there, of course, but I really didn't want the hassle if they didn't fit right out of the box. It took 10 minutes to replace the old tape. This will help remove the pins holding the straps in place, starting at the side of the notch. This allows the pointed instrument to be the starting point for pressing. They should slide out and if they get stuck use some small locks to get them out. The exchange takes place in reverseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of Style

Difficult to assemble and not very durable.

This is an exact replacement for my Garmin Forerunner 610 watch, complete with pins and puller. I've never been a huge fan of this watch's strap design as it doesn't allow for 3rd party straps to be used easily. The pins are not spring-loaded pins like most watches, but friction pins. You'll need to thread the pins on one side and hopefully line up the holes on the other side. This is no easy task! The whole process took about 20 minutes and was very frustrating. Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance

The strap on my Garmin 610 fell apart while jogging one day - a small piece on the side of the strap where the stylus goes through fell apart completely. This was exactly the replacement I needed - it came with pins, both sides of the strap and a tool to assemble it. There were no instructions in the kit, and I had some trouble installing it, so I'll explain below: The tool has a tiny clear plastic cap on the tip, which I removed and threw away, thinking it was just for protection .
