Review on πͺ Ives FS446 3 3/4" Cast Brass Floor Door Stop - Hold-Open Hook, Oil Rubbed Bronze by Kevin Farmer
Strong, excellent quality, but:
Since the hook does not bend by itself (it points straight down), it will pop out at the slightest blow or draft, freeing the door. I need to put a rubber o-ring around the end to hold it in place. Looking at other similar doorstops they all seem to be made the same so not suitable for outdoor use or for self closing doors (spring hinges).
