Surprisingly Weird Rainbow Colors

Golden's Interference Paints are a little hard to understand until you use them. They are transparent except when they are not. They are "metallic" - rather iridescent, but the effect comes from interaction with the background color and not solely from the color itself. They show up better on a dark background than a light one. The color listed for color is the color you see on a black background; Reflectivity and color may vary depending on the drawing. In other words, they're a little weird. But once you understand them, they will open up a world of creativity for you. I use liquid acrylic paints for miniature painting; They work well with other craft acrylics for this purpose and come out of the bottle at about the right consistency - no thinning required.
