I used this product to make 3D gems and it was perfect. I needed something soft enough to fold without breaking but strong enough to support the weight of an LED tealight and withstand rain/wind. That was excellent. I bought several rolls and each of them matched the description. Both sides are matte and more opaque than not - light will get through (as the attached image shows) but not all. This company makes clear plastic sheeting if that suits you better. You can write/draw on both sides. The pen rubs off very easily (but not so easily that it smudges). I look forward to using it again for more projects and expanding on the setup I originally bought it for.
