My monitor's speakers sucked. Headphones were the only way to get good sound. So watching movies with a few friends was out. I got them because I needed something small that would fit on my desk. I also wanted the rbg to fit my setup. I love that you can disable rbg if you don't want to. It sucks that you can't customize it, but for $20 I'm not complaining. These speakers are phenomenal, the sound quality exceeds all my expectations. Even at maximum volume, the sound is not dull or nasal. You can't go wrong with plug and play either. I have recommended them to all my movie fans and gamer friends. worth your money!
