Really easy assembly just attach the wheels with the Velcro on the bottom holds very sturdy. I like that it is lined on the back and the bottom so you can have it upright or laying down. At first my dog hated it. She was very unsure of it. She has never been put inside of a kennel or cage, so I was expecting this at first I put some blankets inside and would coax her in with treats. At first she would hop out the top and get very scared. I almost decided to say screw it, and leave the backpack behind when I traveled, but I decided to try one more approach. I put her dog bed inside and told her to go to bed. She was a little hesitant at first, but she knows the command. Now she attempts to crawl inside the backpack when it is standing up right she’s a little short so she needs my help but I’m very happy to say that did the trick she sits in there, and is very happy inside of her bed. Now we will see how she does inside of it in the airport.I ordered the large size my dog is about 15 lbs and about 18 inches long so it’s just perfect for her.
