This solved my GPU problem (fan runs at maximum then display goes black). Disassembled my old GTX 980 to replace the thermal pads but the problem persisted. I bought this as a last resort, knowing that copper is a good conductor of heat. Disc size is ideal for large chips. For smaller chips I have to cut some in half. Apply some thermal grease to the chips, gently press the copper plate to make good contact, and then apply thermal pads to the pad to squeeze and hold it tighter when you install the cover. I assembled my GPU and turned on the computer. solved my problem. The graphics card fan is not working, the display is blank. Someone has complained about the case. The case is really solid and each compartment is numbered for different pad sizes. Highly recommended and the price is right.
