For individual owners who have the ability to assemble yourself, this simple code reader is really a good option for daily checking or replacing parts related to car exhaust emissions to turn off check engine light. Basically I was looking for something inexpensive for my jeep to read the major trouble codes and help with the replacement. On the recommendation of my friend, I immediately ordered the TOPDON TD300, which costs only 15.99 euros from Revain, based on the product description. It's definitely what I need, simple, dainty, well built and easy to use, and last but not least, inexpensive. It has no built-in battery, so just plug and play. Connect it to the DLC vehicle and the screen will light up with vehicle power. The backlit LCD screen can display two lines of eight characters, and together with the control buttons on the Element, it is easy to select functions for troubleshooting. The most satisfying is checking the I/M readiness status, which is an important parameter to pass the emissions test. When all the I/M readiness parameters show "OK" everything is fine, I can drive it anywhere safely and confidently. In addition, it includes a DTC definition dictionary with over 7000 code definitions. Considering all its features, this is definitely an ideal option. Well I highly recommend it.
