Hole on small end of hook is out of specification. That is significantly more than 0.6 inches. See examples. If it meets spec, you can get a tight, no-spin fit on rods this size. For example, a standard oval closet rod with flat sides and 0.6" x 1.2". EDIT: At the suggestion of the supplier I tried bending the material. The result made me very happy and surprised. The material is malleable. Here in pics 3 and 4 you can see the bar pointing straight up and your hook fitting snugly against it. Does not twist, does not fly off the rod. With a gentle push, it's easy to attach, remove, or reposition the bar. Now I just want you to build them this way! EDIT: See the comparison of the original form and the modified form.
