So many cable options and I was lucky enough to get exactly what I wanted on the first try. This works much better than the screen mirroring on my Galaxy S6+ which I had to endure for 2 years. This USB-C/HDMI port delivers the high quality video and audio I wanted. I have a Samsung S8+ and I plug this cable directly into the HDMI input on my Samsung TV. We now use this all the time in hotels. Now we can watch Netflix, Youtube and HD movies from my phone on any HDMI TV. No more movies to rent at the hotel. I couldn't watch great movies or series on my phone. Now the problem is fixed. With this cable, too, the image fills the entire screen, in contrast to screen mirroring. Luckily my S8+ has a great battery so I don't need an adapter to charge it. It's possible to invest in one of the wireless chargers, but I don't see a need just yet. Now I just need to find the same cable for my S7 with micro USB to HDMI port.
