Review on 💦 DEKOPRO 1HP Submersible Water Pump with Float Switch and Long Cable - Ideal for Swimming Pools, Gardens, Tubs, Ponds, Flood Drains by Kevin Vanlaere

After studying and comparing, I decided on this device based on the ratings and reviews here and on the internet. My first one came pretty quickly which is a plus. However, when I tried to test it by submerging it in a 32-gallon plastic waste bin filled with water, I got a small electrocution in the water when I turned on the unit and tested the float. Not very strong, but strong enough that you can feel electricity going through your fingers and into your hand, making your hand feel sluggish. It is very dangerous that the device has such poor insulation. So far I'm not very happy with this brand even though it's rated so highly. I hope it was defective and I'm sending it back to exchange for another one. I'll report when the second comes.
