First you had to understand that something was missing in the "instructions" in China and that is the switch bracket. Can be seen from the drawing, but a photo in the instructions would be nice. You then need the proper clearances in the pan to allow the derailleur to move up and down. If you don't have one (e.g. a 5 gallon bucket) this most likely won't work for your application.

This is a light to moderate pump that does what I need in the price range I want to stay in, especially for a pilot project. I would like to give it 5 stars for its performance and build quality but the float switch only works when it is in a very specific orientation which has resulted in it not working properly in every shower it has taken since installation. This is a tough little workhorse. We have a 16,000 gallon pool that needs to be drained every 2 or 3 years. Our previous swamp was borrowed and never returned.
