This is basically a cheap copy of a Puig windscreen. But for a cheap little bike like the 300, I really didn't want to spend money on "premium accessories," so I figured it would perform at least as well as the $115 Puig. This is a budget piece that shows the quality of the plastic and hardware. But it attaches easily and protects my chest from the wind when I'm riding in cold weather. I've sprayed it with several coats of spray ceramic protection to prevent scratches, but I have no doubts that it doesn't help. t scratches on the first slip of a coat sleeve or something rougher than a new microfiber towel. So far it's doing its job very well. This bike isn't put through any rigorous testing other than daily road commuting, so I'm assuming it will be fine.
