Review on Schylling 202881 Jack In The Box Toy by Mike Hamelin

I really wanted this toy to be liked. For real. First they sent me the wrong socket out of the box. Luckily it was still cute so I didn't care. The problem for me was that it is very difficult for a child to play alone. I thought it would be difficult for my daughter to learn how to put the figure back in the box, but this was the easiest! I tried it out as soon as it arrived and being in my 30's it took me a while to figure it out. When the song gets to "Pop goes Weasel," it jumps to "Pop" (obviously). Of course, when a person uses this, they use the handle as soon as it pops out and then tries to push the figure back in, but you find you can't. You have to finish turning it to finish the song so the latch resets and you can close it again. This toy will appeal most to a younger child, but I just can't imagine a young child realizing that they have to turn the toy to close it, even after being told to do so. Otherwise the toy is very cute! I just want them to fix this one feature.
