Review on 🔧 ATP Automotive 106007 Intake Manifold for Engine Optimization by Shafiq Wang

Was an '07 that needed a manifold overhaul. I didn't want to spend a lot on a Ford header as I didn't want to leave the car. I took this ATP and installed it. Very easy installation. The instructions were clear and the built in padding was great. To be honest I have 0 complaints. It ran smoothly and fixed the issues. The alternator mount was easy and I didn't mind changing the coil hardware. I think I overtightened a screw on the throttle body, but that's about it. never mind The only downside (and I won't even bang on sprockets because that's a problem with almost every aftermarket plastic intake manifold) is that it's an NPI design manifold converted to a PI design. Long story short, the heads were replaced in 2001 and most companies simply modified their molds to accommodate the new head design, but didn't actually change anything. In total you will lose maybe 10 hp. and some torque. Honestly it is. For my 2007 it really wasn't a problem as it was daily. But if that broke the deal for you, now you know.
