Good low cost alternative

Was an '07 that needed a manifold overhaul. I didn't want to spend a lot on a Ford header as I didn't want to leave the car. I took this ATP and installed it. Very easy installation. The instructions were clear and the built in padding was great. To be honest I have 0 complaints. It ran smoothly and fixed the issues. The alternator mount was easy and I didn't mind changing the coil hardware. I think I overtightened a screw on the throttle body, but that's about it. never mind The only downside…

THERE ARE CHEAPER SUBSTITUTES, BUT I HAVE A NUMBER OF PROBLEMS WITH THEM TOO! ATP CONTACT ME!

Would definitely pay more money for Dorman in the future! when to start 1. It did not connect to my 2008 Crown vic POLICE. The coolant transition on this manifold has 2 threaded holes. I'm assuming 1 is for screwing in the sensor and the plug provided is for plugging an unused hole? OK there are no sensor holes in my manifold so I had to drive 31 miles to get a second sensor. hole plug! I don't really like how the injector fuel rail is mounted.

ok guys and gals here's the kicker, I was a Ford technician from 2002 to 2007, I have about 20 years of automotive experience. The selling point that made me choose this distributor was that it is compatible with OEM seals. I don't see how. I've installed countless Ford manifolds and gaskets, and this manifold has cutouts that have o-rings installed in each port.
