These were purchased for use with our many Samsung phones. Initially they all worked great, but shortly after purchase there were situations where charging when connected to our phones took 4 to 11 hours. He was very inconsistent in his ability to charge. Needless to say we went to our local phone shop to buy a different brand and ended up paying three times as much. I say if you don't want to spend $$$ on a charger, buy this one. You can plug in your phone while you sleep and you might be luckier than us. However, we bought 6 of these and I think all of them had problems at some point.
