I tried different car phone mounts but they all had the same problem. The phone never hangs up. All of my phones were Samsung Galaxy S. It pulls down due to gravity, but even in the lowest mounting position my phones just won't hold up. In desperation I looked on Amazon and found this. I was afraid it wouldn't work because my dashboard has all curved surfaces (toyota rav4 2018). But I am very happy with the results! This thing does NOT even move. I made sure to position it correctly as it is SUPER sticky and the place I keep it is quite small with a leathery surface. Tbh I'm a bit scared to see what happens after I end up having to take it off but I think I'll find out when it's there. Hope nothing breaks! So far it has worked flawlessly and the car's summer heat hasn't bothered it. One more thing: make sure your popsocket (or something similar) is secured in this mount so your phone doesn't fly out! I made the mistake of not checking and only put one side of my popsocket in this mount and when I took a sharp left turn the next thing I knew my phone was crashing, luckily my windows were closed. So make sure your phone is secure before driving people around.
