Review on Enhance Aquarium Filtration with XINYOU XY-2822 Air Pump Double Sponge Water Filter by Crystal Jenkins

Bought this sponge filter for a goldfish hatchery and am very happy with it. It cleans the water efficiently and quickly and is gentle enough for laying young fish. Mine is powered by a Fluval air pump, which allows me to control the flow of water. My favorite frying filter used to be the old Jungle Sponge Filter which sits at the bottom of the tank with a simple inlet and outlet tube, also air operated but no longer available. This is suitable for an aquarium with juvenile fish, but can also serve as a filter for any small aquarium. The filter has two sponge heads and attaches to the inside wall of the tank with suction cups that work great. You can position it higher or lower depending on your needs, where you want to place your flow, how much turbulence you want, how much surface roughness you want, etc. Its simple mechanics make it very adaptable and its robust construction suits anyone after a well designed one , looking for simple sponge filter. A very inexpensive way to get the job done.
